New old style fortifications
I think we’d all cringe at the historical errors in this article. However the subject matter itself is intriguing.
Very interesting. Also maybe interesting is that bolt action rifles are still in use and machine guns, based on the MG 42, are actually being reintroduced in NATO armies.

I guess they still can kill you. Are they going back to larger calibre rounds as well?
