Ah yes! That is a bit of a problem. In the UK it would cost you about £3000 for a train ticket. My son finds it cheaper to fly from Manchester to get to Cornwall than it does to catch the train.
Oh to be able to do this at one's leisure! Maybe one day. Oh and it was cheaper for our daughter to fly from Edinburgh to Bristol rather than catch the train, plus it was quicker. Go figure.
