* I wonder what Catweasle would call it?
Ruminations on wargaming, especially the Seven Years War, the English Civil War and other 'black powder' periods. Occasional forays into obscure Nordic music and opinionated 'dribble' [sic] on Grimsby Town Football Club.

Man that looks like a sweet shack daddyo. Real nice.
ReplyDeleteI should learn to play the banjo so the missus could do some flatfooting.
DeleteOutstanding!
ReplyDeleteWe’re chuffed with it.
DeleteEnvy!!!
ReplyDeleteIt’s not all mine. I have to share it with the three female members of the household, none of whom want to play with my soldiers.
DeleteWargaming’s answer to a Danish summer house. It looks lovely and I look forward to seeing the next stage. A flagpole might add to the Danish conceit.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, though in this house it’ll be called a mรถkki rather than a sommerhus. If it has a flag with a cross on it, it’ll be white with a blue cross (and only on approved Flag Days of course). When it isn’t the cross of St George of course. ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
DeleteThat is lovely and I'm very, very jealous!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Ah, you wouldn’t be jealous if you saw my car, TV, etc ๐
DeleteThis is a great family resource - cant wait to see when you start making use of it for gaming, female relatives notwithstanding!
ReplyDeleteIt’s inching closer Keith. The long treatment/painting process has commenced.
DeleteLooks top notch! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks. We certainly will.
DeleteLooks great and went up much faster than mine(as I had to build it from scratch!) Funnily enough I ran an Internet cable down to the shed at the weekend, it does mean it's now a home office and no gaming!๐ช
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
It helps that I didn’t have anything to do with the construction, other than the odd mug of coffee. They had 3 guys, working over 4 days (though not full days by any means), excluding a couple of sparks on days two and (after a gap) day 6.
DeleteNo gaming in your wargaming cabin?! Casca il mondo (or something like that).
