All units painted and based, except for the elephants. And the bases for the Celts need finishing off. The flock just about lasted. I'm hoping that enough shakes off when this lot is dry to cover the Celts.
Slingers, javelinmen, Celtic swordsmen, Numidian cav and citizen cav on the flanks. In the centre: Spanish swordsmen, citizen spearmen, Liby-Phoenician spearmen, and heavy cav. |
Impressive work, Chris!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon.
DeleteThey all look great, lets hope Rome do better than Real Madrid?!

Crikey. Only just seen the score! Madrid are just like Grimsby. They get stuffed at home.

Great looking army Chris. The shields are awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou will have to add flock to your Christmas list. 😁
I thought I’d ordered some from Pendraken with my recent order for vases but when I checked it wasn’t on the order.

I guess that vases = bases Chris. 😁 Or Pendraken have some new product lines.
DeleteIt’s dealing with all these Spanish troops Ben. The Bs are turning into Vs. 😄

Mission accomplished and with flair.

Thank you very much! Not quite completed. Still got the Nellies to do.
DeleteWell they look great Chris and fingers crossed on the flock front! Loved the post title BTW:).
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve. Did you get the last post’s title?
DeleteNo, far too clever for me on an early morn!
DeleteThey look ace Chris - I’ve plenty of flock but a lot of my paints are running VERY low. Might have to invest in some basics rather than the oooh shiny next time I get my pocket money. Will we be seeing these lads in action soon?
ReplyDeleteCheers old chap. Might be a while before they appear on the table. I need to read BI (and Jon’s hex adaptations) a few times first.

You have certainly had a much more productive October than I have Chris - and they all look splendid!
ReplyDeleteWell that’s because you’ve had friends over a lot of this month.
