After 1100 years….
…..has England split or was it a myth that Athelstan united all England?
Or is it just a sign of declining proofreading standards at the Beeb?
It's really just a case of putting the adjective in the wrong place...from reading the article, the soldiers are from 4 Btn Mercian Regiment (a TA unit)....so it's similar to saying "Scots Army reserves" etc
Not yet, but give them another vote and see what happens....although, it might be safer now that bozo Boris isn't running the Westminster operation.....
